Cultural Training Institute works towards the promotion of sustainable development.
For the last 10 years, Cultural Training Institute has been running a music school for both vocal and instrument for Hindustani Classical music. 250 students enrolled in this school in different courses. At present 20 gurus of different courses such as Prathama, Madhayama and Vishrath
TRAINING ON NAT SANKRITAN
This programme is a regular activity of Cultural Training Institute. The Cultural Training Institute conducts training on instrumental music at Brahmapur Nahabam, Imphal East District. Altogether 20 young artists took part in the training programme.
HANDICRAFT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
The Organisation conducts Training on Handicraft ( Cane & Bamboo Crafts ) in order to improve the socio-economic condition for the poor young educated youth and create self employment.
AWARENESS PROGRAMME GIRL TRAFFICKING
The Organization Conducts Awareness programme on prevention of women and Child Trafficking at various places of Imphal East District, Manipur. The main objective of the awareness programme was to prevent trafficking of girls and child for sexual abuse. Resource persons from the Social welfare department, police personnel, social workers talked on the issues related to girls and child trafficking.
AGRI & HORTICULTURE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
Most of the farmers in rural areas of the state are unable to produce crops due to the lack of using scientific technologies. Moreover the irregularity of monsoon impact of drought in many parts leads to the low production.
In order to optimize agriculture & horticulture products through application of modern and scientific method of agriculture farming, the Organisation has Initiated training programme on Agri & Horticulture Development Imphal East District. Altogether 52 farmers from Imphal were benefited under this programme by imparting training on modern/scientific method on agri & horticulture Farming. They were also distributed high yield variety seeds, PP Chemicals at free of cost.
KHONGJOM PARVA FESTIVAL
The Organisation organises Khongjom Parva Festival with talented artistes and to promote art & culture at Brahmapur Nahabam, Imphal. Many Cultural groups, troupes and individuals take part in the Festival. Prizes, memento and Certificates are distributed to the participants.
CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAMME
Cultural Exchange programme conducts at Brahnlapur Nahalsarn, Imphal. The objective of this Programme is to enhance Cultural values through dance and music. Further to protect and promote the indigenous culture of Manipur as well as to bring peace and harmony through exchange of culture of the different ethnic groups. In this program different artiste having rich resource on tribal folk lore , Manipur folk lore (dance and music), Muslim folk etc were participated.
Training on Instrumental Music
The Cultural Training Institute had conducted a one month long training on Instrumental Music. The Training was organised at its training hall located at Brahmapur Nahabam, Imphal. Altogether 20 young artists took part in the training.
